Jack is Hitting the Town
JAY-K’s local celebrity handyman, Jack O’Trade (the guy from the billboards) is hitting the town again. Beginning August 18th, he’ll visit 4 local businesses or community organizations over the next 4 weeks. If anyone spots him they should log onto JAY-K’s website at www.jay-k.com and enter the jack-sighting contest, for a chance to win great prizes.Just for venturing a Jack-sighting guess, you will receive a downloadable JAY-K coupon for $10 off your purchase of $50 or more or $20 off your purchase of $100 or more. If you guess where Jack is correctly, you will be put into a weekly drawing for a $100 JAY-K gift card. All contestants will be entered into the grand prize drawing for a BBQ giveaway package, made possible by Hapanowicz Bros. Meat Market and Weber Grills, valued at over $2,000.
“Jack loves this community,” said Dean Kelly, JAY-K President. “He has been patiently waiting all summer to come down and hang out with everyone. The only problem is that we don’t know exactly where he is and we really need the public’s help to find him. Jack could be anywhere within Utica and the surrounding Central New York area from Cooperstown to Syracuse to the Adirondacks.”
Jack-sighting guesses can also be made inside the JAY-K store at 8448 Seneca Turnpike, in New Hartford. After Jack’s 4-week adventure around town, the grand prize drawing will be held at JAY-K during their Weatherization Fair, on Saturday, September 20, 2008.
