To promote a new resort and it’s famous rum-making neighbor, we suggested combining forces for a little R & R (Rum & Resort). This Facebook-based promotion perfectly captured the brands, as fans were invited fans to mix their own drinks, submit recipes, stories and pictures online, and invite friends to comment and vote on their favorites. The grand prize winner got a free trip to the resort and a ceremony celebrating the addition of her drink to their signature list. Likes, new fans and drinks are being raised around North America. We’re still testing to decide our favorite.
