I have to admit, I have it pretty good. Joe (or his mate) walks me every day, and we play all the time, though the media exposure can get tiresome (what is #dogsofinstagram, anyway?). Joe works a lot, sometimes long-distance, but he’s very loyal and obedient, especially when I offer him fine food or wine. He takes very long “walks” (around the world), and travels with little more than his collar and a water bowl. He takes me out on the water sailing, and secretly wants to put his culinary skills to the test on Iron Chef America, a show which looks great, but doesn’t really smell as well as I expected.
